Lets Clodix publish to your site when your hosting removes the sign-in header or turns off Application Passwords.

== Description ==

Clodix publishes articles to WordPress through the REST API. Normally it signs in with an Application Password. Some hosts remove the `Authorization` header that carries it, or switch Application Passwords off — then the connection fails even with the right password.

This plugin issues its own key and accepts it from a different header that hosts leave alone. Requests with a valid key run as the administrator who created the key.

* The key is shown once and stored only as a hash.
* Creating a new key revokes the old one; you can revoke it at any time.
* Only REST API requests are affected. Nothing changes on your site's pages.
* Deleting the plugin removes the key.

== Installation ==

1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose `clodix-connector.zip` and click Install Now, then Activate.
2. Go to Settings → Clodix Connector and click Create key. Copy the key.
3. In Clodix, open Settings → Publishing integrations → WordPress. Enter your site URL and WordPress username, paste the key into the Application password field and click Connect.
