Overview This policy explains when **AQPRO LIMITED** ("Clodix", "we"), registration number 78622410, Room 511, 5/F, Ming Sang Industrial Building, 19–21 Hing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, refunds subscription fees. It is part of our [Terms of Service](https://www.clodix.ai/terms). One policy, everywhere. Where the mandatory consumer law of your country or state gives you more than this policy does, that law wins and we will apply it without argument. ## 2. General position Clodix is a digital service delivered immediately. From your first sign-in we run paid AI research and generation on your behalf, and those costs are incurred whether or not you publish the result. Subscription fees are therefore non-refundable, except in the cases set out below. ## 3. 14-day money-back guarantee If you are a first-time subscriber, you can request a **full refund of your first payment within 14 days** of that payment, provided that: - your account has generated **no more than 10 articles** - you have not previously received a refund from us - your account is not suspended and is not in breach of the Terms of Service - you remove or unpublish content generated by Clodix from your website within **14 days** of receiving the refund — the assignment of rights in that content under section 9 of the Terms is reversed when we refund the period that paid for it. The guarantee covers the first billing period only, not renewals. It applies to whichever billing period you first bought — monthly, quarterly or annual. ## 4. Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK: right of withdrawal As a consumer you normally have **14 days to withdraw from a distance contract** without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and, in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. For digital services that start immediately, that right ends once performance has begun — but only if you expressly asked us to start and acknowledged that you would lose the right. **Our checkout does not ask you for that waiver**, so your withdrawal right is unaffected: tell us within 14 days of subscribing and we refund you in full within 14 days of being told, to the payment method you used. We do not apportion the refund for articles already generated in those 14 days, and we do not charge you for the part of the service already supplied. You do not need to use a form, but if you prefer one, any clear statement to info@clodix.ai saying you are withdrawing is enough. ## 5. Consumers in the United States Your state and federal rights are unaffected by this policy. In particular: - **Automatic renewals.** Under the federal Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act and state automatic-renewal laws — California's Automatic Renewal Law, New York, Oregon and others — we disclose the renewal term, the renewal price and the cancellation method before you pay, obtain your express consent to the recurring charge, send you confirmation, and let you cancel online in the same number of steps it took to subscribe. If we ever fail to do that and you are charged for a renewal as a result, tell us and we will refund that charge. - **Unauthorised charges.** If a charge was made without your authorisation, report it to info@clodix.ai; we investigate and refund unauthorised charges in full. - **State consumer protection law.** Nothing here waives a right your state gives you that cannot be waived by contract. ## 6. Consumers elsewhere Consumers in every other jurisdiction keep every right their local law gives them, including rights that cannot be waived by contract. This policy does not limit them. ## 7. What we do not refund - **Renewal charges**, where the renewal date and amount were visible in your account and disclosed before the renewal — subject to section 5 and to section 8. - **The unused part of a billing period after you cancel.** Access continues to the end of the paid period instead. - **Dissatisfaction with rankings, traffic, indexing or conversions**, none of which we guarantee. - **Dissatisfaction with the style, tone or quality of generated content**, or a change of mind outside the windows above. - **Problems caused by your hosting, CMS, plugins or security tooling**, or by a third-party platform changing its API, pricing or policies. - **Accounts terminated for breach of the Terms of Service.** - **Purchases made through a reseller or partner** — those follow that seller's policy. ## 8. When the service fails If a core function of Clodix is materially unavailable for a prolonged period, and we cannot resolve it after you have reported it to info@clodix.ai and given us a reasonable chance to fix it, we will refund the affected part of your subscription pro rata, or extend your subscription by the equivalent time — your choice. If we discontinue the service, we refund the unused prepaid portion without you having to ask. This is separate from, and additional to, your statutory remedies for non-conforming digital content under the EU Digital Content Directive (2019/770), the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and US state law. ## 9. Cancelling is not the same as refunding Cancelling stops future charges. It does not automatically refund the current period. If you want both, cancel from **Settings → Plan → Manage billing** and send a refund request as described below. ## 10. How to request a refund Email **info@clodix.ai** with the subject "Refund request" and include: - the email address on the account; - the invoice number, or the date and amount of the charge; - a short description of the reason. We reply with a decision within **5 business days**. Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method within **10 business days** on our side; your bank or card issuer may take several days more to show it. Refunds under section 4 are always made within 14 days of your notice, as the law requires. ## 11. Chargebacks Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — most cases are resolved faster directly, and a chargeback typically takes far longer than a refund. Opening a chargeback while a refund request is being handled may result in suspension or termination of the account and refusal of future subscriptions. When responding to a dispute we provide the payment processor and the card issuer with the account, consent and usage records relevant to the charge. Nothing in this section affects your right to dispute a charge you did not authorise, or your rights under section 75 of the UK Consumer Credit Act 1974 or the US Fair Credit Billing Act. ## 12. Currency and taxes Refunds are issued in the original currency of the charge, **US dollars (USD)**. We do not compensate for exchange-rate movements or for fees charged by your bank or card issuer. Where tax was charged and is refundable, it is returned with the refund. ## 13. Changes to this policy We may update this policy. **The version in force at the time you paid is the one that applies to that payment** — a later change never reduces what you were entitled to when you bought. Material changes are announced by email or in the application. ## 14.
