Refunds
When Clodix refunds a payment — the 14-day guarantee, its conditions, your statutory rights, and how to request one.
This page summarizes our refund policy in plain language. The full legal text is published at clodix.ai/refund — that version governs if the two ever disagree.
The 14-day money-back guarantee
If you're a first-time subscriber, you can request a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of paying, as long as:
- your account has generated no more than 10 articles;
- you haven't received a refund from us before;
- your account is in good standing (not suspended, no breach of the Terms of Service);
- you remove or unpublish the content Clodix generated from your website within 14 days of getting the refund.
The guarantee covers the first billing period only — it doesn't apply to renewals, and it applies whichever term you first bought (monthly, quarterly or yearly).
If you're in the EU, EEA or UK
You also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. Our checkout doesn't ask you to waive it, so it applies in full: tell us within 14 days of subscribing and we refund you in full, without needing to meet the article-count condition above.
If you're in the United States
Your state and federal rights are unaffected by this policy — including rules on disclosing renewal terms and prices before you pay, and your right to a refund of any charge made without your authorization.
What isn't covered
- Renewal charges, where the renewal date and amount were visible in your account beforehand.
- The unused part of a billing period after you cancel — access simply continues to the end of the period instead.
- Not being happy with rankings, traffic, indexing or conversions — none of these are guaranteed.
- Not liking the style or quality of generated content, outside the 14-day window above.
- Problems caused by your own hosting, CMS, plugins or security tooling, or by a third-party platform changing its API or policies.
How to request a refund
Email info@clodix.ai with the subject "Refund request" and include:
- the email address on your account;
- your invoice number, or the date and amount of the charge;
- a short description of why you're asking.
We reply with a decision within 5 business days. Approved refunds are sent back to your original payment method within 10 business days on our side — your bank may take a few days more to show it.
Chargebacks
If something seems wrong with a charge, email us first — most cases are resolved faster that way than through a bank dispute, and a chargeback typically takes longer to resolve than a refund. This doesn't affect your right to dispute a charge you didn't authorize.
