Content calendar
Calendar overview
The Calendar month grid — statuses, what each day does on click, live generation steps and the plan's shape.
Your content calendar is the month-long plan Clodix built when you set up your site: one topic per day, backed by a real keyword. This page explains the grid, what each kind of day does when you click it, and how the plan is shaped.

The grid
A standard month view, Monday first, with Previous month / Next month arrows and a Today button to jump back. Each cell is one day; a day holds at most one topic or article.
Legend and statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Planned | A topic is scheduled for this day, waiting for its date or your click |
| Generating | The article for this day is being written right now |
| Draft | The article is finished and waiting for you to review or publish it |
| Scheduled | The article is finished and will publish itself on its planned day |
| Published | Live on your site |
| Clodix auto-scheduled | This day was (or will be) filled in automatically by autopilot |
What each kind of day does on click
- Planned day — opens a "Scheduled Article" popup showing the keyword, its difficulty and estimated traffic, and the credit cost. See Schedule, move and remove topics for the buttons.
- Generating day — shows the pipeline's live progress instead of opening anything:
- Researching the topic…
- Building the outline…
- Writing the article…
- Making it sound human…
- Checking uniqueness…
- Creating the cover…
- Drafting social posts…
- Scoring SEO… (step N of 8)
This updates on its own while you watch — no need to reload the page.
- Written day (Draft / Scheduled / Published) — opens the article in the editor.
- Empty future day — opens a "Schedule Article" popup to pick a keyword for that day. See Schedule a topic on an empty day.
- Empty day with autopilot on — reads "Clodix auto-fills this day" instead, and clicking it explains that autopilot will handle it, with the option to schedule it yourself anyway.
- Past day — not clickable; you can't plan into the past.
Autopilot-filled days
When Autopilot is on, empty future days show Clodix auto-fills this day — autopilot will pick a keyword and schedule the topic itself as that day approaches, with no action needed from you. You can still schedule such a day yourself from the popup if you want a specific keyword on it.
The plan shape
Your first plan lays out roughly 22 topics across a 30-day window: the first 14 days get a topic every single day, and after that topics appear every other day. The gaps in the second half are intentional — they are what the schedule looks like once the initial burst slows to a steady pace, not missing data.
Once the plan runs low, Clodix adds more topics after the last one already on your calendar — see Schedule, move and remove topics for adding topics yourself, and Rebuild your plan for replacing the plan wholesale.
FAQ
Why does my calendar have empty days between topics?
That's by design — after the first two dense weeks, your plan spaces topics out every other day. Nothing is missing; you can still add a topic to any empty day yourself.
Can I have two topics on the same day?
No — one topic per day. Drag a planned topic to a different empty day if you want to move it, or remove it and schedule a different keyword instead.
What happens when I run out of planned topics?
New topics are added automatically after the end of your current plan, so your calendar keeps filling in rather than running dry.
