Account and billing
Cancel your subscription
How to cancel or resume your Clodix subscription, and what happens to your site, articles and data afterwards.
Cancelling is self-serve — there's no form to fill in and no need to contact support unless you want to.
Cancel
- Open Settings → Plan.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- A dialog confirms: "Your plan stays fully active until <date> — nothing changes today. After that date it simply won't renew, and no further charges are made."
- Click Cancel subscription again to confirm, or Keep subscription to back out.
Nothing is switched off immediately. You keep full access — Autopilot, publishing, Analytics, everything — until the end of the period you already paid for. After that date your account no longer has an active subscription, and you're asked to resubscribe the next time you sign in.
Resume
Changed your mind before the period ends? Open Settings → Plan and click Resume subscription. There's no confirmation dialog for this one — resuming isn't destructive, it just undoes the scheduled cancellation and your plan renews as normal again.
What happens to your articles and data
- Articles already published on your site stay published. Cancelling Clodix never un-publishes or removes anything from your website — those posts are yours and stay where they are.
- Your account, site profile, keyword research and content calendar stay as they are. Nothing is deleted when your access ends; if you resubscribe later, you pick up where you left off.
- Drafts that were never published simply stay as drafts in Clodix, waiting for a published article slot you'll have again once you resubscribe.
If you want your account and data removed entirely rather than just not renewing, that's not a self-serve option yet — contact support and we'll take care of it.
Cancelling an extra site's subscription
Each additional website is billed as its own subscription, but there's only one Cancel subscription button in Settings, and it's for your main plan. To cancel just one extra site's subscription, open the billing portal — Settings → Plan → Manage — and cancel that specific subscription from there. See Add more websites for how extra sites are billed.
FAQ
If I cancel, do I lose my credits right away?
No — your credit balance stays usable until your access actually ends at the end of the paid period. See Credits.
Can I get a refund instead of just cancelling?
Cancelling and refunding are different things: cancelling stops future renewals, it doesn't refund the current period on its own. See Refunds for when a refund applies and how to request one.
I cancelled by mistake — can I undo it?
Yes, as long as your period hasn't ended yet: open Settings → Plan and click Resume subscription.
