Getting started
Glossary
Clodix terms explained — Brand DNA, topic cluster, autopilot, credits, SEO score and more, alphabetically.
Words Clodix uses that aren't always obvious the first time you see them.
Autopilot
The switch in Brand DNA. On: Clodix writes each calendar day's article by itself, on schedule. Off: nothing is written until you click a topic yourself.
Average position
Where your pages rank in Google's results on average, pulled from Search Console — lower is better (1 is the top result). Shown on the dashboard's "Avg. Ranking" tile and on Analytics.
Brand DNA
The profile of your business Clodix writes every article from: what you do, your audience, tone of voice, service area, and the topics to avoid. See Brand DNA overview.
Click rate (CTR)
The share of people who saw your page in Google's results and actually clicked it. See Analytics.
Core Web Vitals
Google's page-speed measures — loading, interactivity and layout stability. This is what the Page speed panel on Site Insights checks.
Credits
The unit every paid action — an article, a cover image, a social post — is measured in. Your monthly allowance resets with your billing date; credits you buy separately never expire while you're subscribed. See Credits.
Draft
An article Clodix has written but that isn't live on your site yet. See Articles overview.
Generating
A calendar day whose article is being written right now — click it to watch the steps live. See Calendar overview.
Impressions
How many times Google showed your page in search results. Impressions rise before clicks do, so they're usually the first sign an article is working. See Analytics.
IndexNow
A protocol that tells search engines the moment an article goes live, instead of waiting for them to notice on their own. Every publish pings it automatically — there's nothing to set up. See Publish an article.
Originality
A check that compares a new article against everything already on your site, so you don't end up with two pieces that read the same. See SEO score and originality.
Planned
A calendar day that has a topic chosen but not written yet. See Calendar overview.
Published
An article that's live on your site — either published automatically through a connected CMS, or marked as published after you posted it yourself. See Publish an article.
Scheduled
An article that's finished and will go live on its own on its planned day, because a CMS is connected and "Publish articles automatically" is switched on. See Autopilot.
SEO score
A 0–100 check of one article: keyword use, word count, headings, readability, meta description, title, links and featured image. See SEO score and originality.
Topic cluster
A group of related keywords in your niche. The calendar alternates between clusters so your site's coverage grows evenly instead of piling up on one subject. See Keywords.
