Emails we send you
Every email Clodix sends you, when it's sent, which ones are transactional, and how to unsubscribe from the rest.
Clodix emails you about your account and your content. Most of these are service emails you can't turn off — they're part of using the product, not marketing. A smaller set is marketing, and you can opt out of that at any time.
Service emails (transactional)
| Subject | When it's sent |
|---|---|
| Welcome to Clodix — your account is ready | Your account is created |
| Your Clodix subscription is active — set your password | You paid, but haven't set a password yet |
| Payment received — your Clodix subscription is active | A payment succeeds |
| Payment failed — your Clodix autopilot is paused | A renewal payment fails |
| Your Clodix subscription renews on <date> | Ahead of a Monthly or Quarterly renewal |
| Your yearly Clodix subscription reminder | Ahead of a Yearly renewal |
| Your Clodix subscription is set to cancel | You cancel in Settings → Plan |
| Your Clodix subscription has ended | Your access period runs out without renewing |
| Your Clodix password was changed | You change your password |
| Your article is ready: <title> | An article finishes generating as a draft |
| You're running low on Clodix credits | Your balance drops to about two articles' worth |
| Out of credits — article generation is paused | Your balance hits zero |
| <N> articles for <site> are waiting to be published | Weekly (Tuesdays), only if you have 3+ drafts older than a week and auto-publish is off |
These always arrive, whatever your marketing email preference — they tell you something happened to your account, your money or your content.
Marketing emails
Clodix also sends occasional product updates and SEO tips as a nurture sequence. These are the only emails you can turn off.
Unsubscribe
Every marketing email has an Unsubscribe link in the footer, which takes you to a preferences page with two choices:
- Only send the important ones — keeps you on the list for things actually worth your time, cuts the rest.
- Unsubscribe from everything — stops all marketing email.
Once you've picked one, the page offers to undo it (Resubscribe, or switch to the other option) if you change your mind.
FAQ
I can't find the unsubscribe link.
Contact support and we'll unsubscribe you by hand — just tell us the email address to remove.
Can I stop service emails too?
Not individually — they're tied to events on your account (a payment, a finished article, a password change). The only way to stop all of them is to close your account; ask support if that's what you want.
