Account and billing

Manage your subscription

Where to see your billing period and next charge, how to upgrade to yearly, update your payment method, and what you can't change in-app.

Everything about your billing lives in Settings → Plan.

Settings page with the Plan panel and its billing details

What the Plan panel shows

  • Period — Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly.
  • Next billing date — when you'll next be charged. If you've cancelled, this becomes Active until instead.
  • Amount — what you're actually charged, in your currency.

Manage billing

Click Manage to open the billing portal, where you can:

  • update your payment method;
  • download invoices and receipts;
  • update your billing details (name, address, tax information).

The portal is run by Stripe, our payment processor — Clodix never sees or stores your card details.

Upgrade to Yearly

If you're on the Monthly plan, you'll see Upgrade to Yearly and save $252 per year. Clicking it opens a confirmation dialog:

  1. It shows Due today — the prorated amount Stripe will charge right now. The unused part of your current month is credited toward it.
  2. Click Pay $X to confirm. Your plan switches to Yearly immediately, and your next charge follows the yearly schedule from then on.

There's no confirmation email step — once you confirm, the switch and the charge both happen in that same click.

If a payment fails

A failed renewal doesn't cancel your subscription outright, but it does pause it: you get a "Payment failed — your Clodix autopilot is paused" email, and signing back in sends you to a screen that explains your payment didn't go through, with an Update payment method button. That opens the same billing portal — once your card is fixed, your subscription picks back up.

What you can't do here

  • No in-app downgrade. The Upgrade button only moves Monthly to Yearly — there's no button to move the other way, or to switch to Quarterly from either Monthly or Yearly.
  • No invoice history outside the billing portal. Settings shows your current period and amount, not past charges — click Manage for that.

If you want a different term than the one-click upgrade offers, the straightforward route is to cancel your current plan — you keep access until the period ends — and subscribe again at the term you want from the pricing page. You can also contact support if you'd rather have us walk you through it.

FAQ

Will upgrading to Yearly change my credit allowance?

Yes — the Yearly plan's monthly allowance is 25,000 credits, compared to 50,000 on Monthly. See Plans and pricing for the full comparison.

Can I see my past invoices?

Yes, in the billing portal — click Manage and look for invoices or receipts there.
