Site Health turns your site's problems into a step-by-step road, scored and scanned weekly.

Site Health takes the same facts Site Insights measures and turns them into an order to work in: one score, four stages, and one step at a time with exactly what to do and why. It's free, needs no setup to be useful, and the points it pays count toward your SEO Level.

The score and the four stages

Your score (0–100) is the share of checks that currently pass, graded Excellent (90+), Good (75+), Fair (50+), Weak (25+) or Critical. The road is walked in this order:

  1. Get found — Google and Bing can reach, crawl and index every page.
  2. Be understood — every page says clearly what it's about, to people and to machines.
  3. Load fast — pages open quickly on a phone, anywhere in the world.
  4. Get quoted by AI — ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can read the site and cite it.

Nothing is locked — you can jump ahead — but the order is the order that pays off fastest.

Working through a step

Each step explains what to do, what you get from it, and exactly how. Three ways to close one out:

  • Check now — Clodix re-checks it for you right away, on checks it can verify directly.
  • I did it — for checks only Google or Bing can ultimately confirm (like indexing); the weekly scan verifies it and pays the points once it does.
  • Come back later — parks the step; it's remembered in this browser and reopens where you left it.

Scanning your site

  • Scan my site runs the first scan — it opens a dozen of your pages, reads robots.txt and the sitemap, and asks Google and Bing what they index. Takes about a minute, free.
  • A scan then runs automatically every week to keep your score current.
  • Scan again re-runs it on demand, up to 5 manual scans a day per site.

Badges

Bronze, silver and gold badges unlock as you go: First fix (fix and confirm one thing), Findable and Crystal clear (finish the first two stages), Speed 90+, AI-ready (finish the AI stage), and All green (a health score of 90 or higher).

Points and your growth level

Every passing check and finished stage pays points, shown the moment they're earned — the same points that move your account's growth level (the ladder shown on the dashboard and the top bar). Site Health is where those points are earned, not a separate score.

FAQ

Does Site Health cost credits?

No — scanning, checking and fixing are all free. Only article generation and the other AI-pipeline actions spend credits.

I pressed "I did it" but the step still isn't checked off — why?

Some things (like whether Google has actually re-indexed a page) can only be confirmed by the next weekly scan, not instantly. "I did it" records that you've made the change; the scan then verifies it and pays the points when it runs.

What happens if I hit the 5-scans-a-day limit?

You can still work through steps and use "Check now" where it's offered — only a full re-scan of the whole site is capped, and it resets the next day.
