Site Insights

Site Insights — page speed, worldwide reachability, technical SEO and what to fix first.

Site Insights is about your website itself — how fast it loads, whether it answers reliably around the world, and whether the technical basics search engines (and AI assistants) need are in place. It's separate from Analytics, which reports what Google and Bing have seen, not what's actually on your site.

This screen doesn't need setup to finish — only a website address — and it's completely free; nothing here spends credits.

The three tiles

  • Page speed — a 0–100 score from a mobile page-speed check.
  • Reachable worldwide — how many countries (out of the ones we probe) got a working response from your site.
  • Technical SEO — how many of our checks are currently passing.

Run all checks

Click Run all checks to refresh page speed and worldwide reachability together. Each panel updates as soon as its own check comes back — they run independently, so one slow check doesn't hold up the other.

What to fix

Every finding from every check on this page, worst first, so you always see the biggest lever at the top:

  • Fix now (critical), Worth fixing (warning), or Nice to have (idea) — shown as a count beside the list heading.
  • Each row names the problem, shows the evidence we found (the exact file, line or response that triggered it), and links either to the matching step on Site Health or to its own how-to.
  • Two buttons per row: I'll fix it myself marks it as something you're handling, and Check now re-runs just that check to confirm whether it's resolved.

Re-checks are capped at 10 a day per site — enough for normal back-and-forth while you fix things, not enough to loop.

  • Reachable worldwide — which countries served the page and which didn't.
  • Technical SEO — "Live checks · refreshed every 6 hours": robots.txt, sitemap, structured data and the rest of what Google needs before a page can rank at all.
  • AI crawler access and llms.txt — whether crawlers like GPTBot can actually read your site, and whether you're serving an llms.txt file. These checks currently live here alongside the rest; a problem found here is still listed in What to fix above.

FAQ

Does running checks here cost credits?

No. Everything on Site Insights — page speed, worldwide reach, and the technical SEO audit — is free and doesn't touch your credit balance.

Why do some checks say "Open this step in Site Health" instead of a how-to?

Some problems have a full guided fix on Site Health, including the "I did it" / "Check now" flow and the points it pays. Rather than explain the same fix twice, the row here points you there.

I fixed something — why does the row still show the old result?

Click Check now on that row to re-check it immediately. Technical SEO checks otherwise refresh automatically every 6 hours; page speed and reachability only update when you (or the weekly Site Health scan) run them again.
