Getting started

How Clodix works

The whole Clodix loop, end to end — connect your site, research, plan, write, publish and measure — and what runs by itself.

Clodix researches your niche, plans a month of articles, writes and scores them, and publishes them to your site. Connect your site once, and most of the loop runs by itself from there.

The dashboard a few weeks in: the four tiles, the content calendar timeline and the getting-started checklist.

The five stages

1. Connect your site. Setup crawls your site, works out what you do and who you sell to, and writes it down as your Brand DNA. See Set up your site.

2. Research the niche. Real search queries in your niche — with volume and difficulty — are grouped into topic clusters. This is the Keywords page.

3. Plan the month. The best topics are laid out on the Calendar: fourteen days in a row, then every other day, about 22 topics in the first month.

4. Write, score, illustrate. On each day, Clodix runs a long-form article through eight steps — you can watch them live on a generating calendar day: researching the topic, building the outline, writing it, making it sound human, checking it isn't too close to anything else on your site, creating the cover, drafting social posts, and scoring it for SEO.

5. Publish and measure. Publishing sends the article to your CMS and pings search engines about it. Analytics and Site Insights show what happens next.

What runs by itself, and what needs you

  • Autopilot (set during setup, changeable any time in Brand DNA → Autopilot) decides whether articles are written for you automatically, on their scheduled day, or wait for you to click Generate Now.
  • Publishing only happens on its own once two things are true: a CMS is connected and "Publish articles automatically" is switched on in Brand DNA. Otherwise every finished article sits as a draft for you to review and publish yourself.
  • A calendar date is a schedule, not a strict deadline — autopilot picks up whatever day has already arrived, so a day can sit a little before it's written.

How long things take

  • Setup usually finishes in a few minutes. If it runs long, the wizard lets you go to your dashboard after about 15 minutes — the plan keeps building in the background and appears once it's ready.
  • An article is a matter of minutes, not hours. Each of the eight steps is saved on its own, so if one fails it simply retries instead of losing what came before.

What it costs

Writing spends credits — the unit every paid action is measured in. The headline numbers:

ActionCredits
Article (research through score, cover and social drafts included)1,000
Regenerate the cover (first manual cover is free)200
Regenerate a social post50
Rebuild your plan (language change, or from Search Console data)500

Your plan comes with a monthly credit allowance; setup itself costs nothing.

FAQ

Does Clodix publish articles without me reviewing them first?

Only if both autopilot and "Publish articles automatically" are switched on in Brand DNA, and a CMS is connected. Otherwise every article stops at Draft until you press Publish.

Can I turn autopilot off after turning it on?

Yes, any time, from Brand DNA → Autopilot. Nothing already published is affected — it only changes what happens to future calendar days.

What happens if an article fails to generate?

Clodix retries automatically. If it still fails, the credits you were charged are refunded — see An article failed.
