Rebuild your plan

When the Search Console rebuild banner appears, what it costs, and what a plan rebuild changes or keeps.

A plan rebuild replaces the untouched part of your calendar and your keyword library with a fresh set, built from better data than you had at setup. There are two ways to trigger one.

"Rebuild plan from Search Console"

Once Google Search Console is connected and has collected enough data, the calendar shows a one-time banner:

Search Console is in. Your site already ranks for N queries on pages 1–3 — rebuild the plan around them instead of estimates.

When it appears

  • Search Console is connected and has synced at least 50 of your own queries ranking on pages 1–3 (positions roughly 4–30) that aren't already scheduled.
  • Your calendar is still young — younger than 14 days since its first topic was planned. Past that window, the banner doesn't appear on its own; rebuild from Brand DNA instead if you want to.
  • You haven't used this banner before — it's offered once per site.

What it costs

500 credits, charged before the rebuild starts. If the rebuild fails for any reason, your credits are returned automatically.

What changes and what stays

  • Planned topics that don't have a written article yet are replaced with new topics built from your site's own ranking queries, ahead of the provider's estimates.
  • Topics that already have a written article are left exactly as they are — the rebuild never touches work that's already done.
  • Your keyword library is refreshed to match.

Click Rebuild plan from Search Console to start it; you'll see a "Rebuilding…" state while it runs, usually a few minutes.

Rebuild after a language change

Changing your content Language on Brand DNA doesn't rewrite anything that already exists — your keywords and planned topics keep the language they were built in, while new articles follow the new language. If you want the whole plan to catch up, a note on the Brand DNA page offers:

Rebuild in \<language\> · 500 credits

Clicking it does the same kind of rebuild as the Search Console banner — keywords and not-yet-written topics are regenerated in the new language — except it isn't gated on Search Console data or plan age; it's offered any time your calendar's language doesn't match your site's current language setting. The same rule applies: articles already written keep their original language, and credits are refunded automatically if the rebuild fails.

FAQ

Will a rebuild delete articles I've already published?

No. A rebuild only removes planned topics that have no article behind them yet. Anything already written, scheduled or published is left untouched.

I don't see the Search Console banner. Why?

Either Search Console isn't connected yet, your site hasn't synced 50 qualifying queries, your plan is older than 14 days, or you've already used the offer once. You can still rebuild from Brand DNA if your language has changed.

What happens to my keywords after a rebuild?

Your existing keyword library is cleared and regenerated — from your own ranking queries for a Search Console rebuild, or in the new language for a language rebuild.
